The Epoxy flexibilisers of Baxenden (Chemtura) is a blocked isocyanate prepolymer, can be used in duo-component room temperature curing amine system, which can be added in Epoxy resins to strengthen its toughness, elasticity , ductility , impact resistance after harden without reduce the chemical resistance of the Epoxy resins itself.

Besides, it can be applied in Infusion, adhesion, and coating of Epoxy resins.

Our products are differing from standard blocked isocyanate prepolymer. By combining with a more unstable capping agent, the chemical formula is capable to make them solidified in room temperature, not by the heat of higher temperature to unseal them. The main application of the Epoxy flexibilisers is to improve the flexibility, elongation, impact resistance of Epoxy resins effectively under the circumstances of damage the feature of chemical resistance. Our product, blocked Isocyanate prepolymers can react with Amine curing agent which is used in 2-K Epoxy resins formulas. Therefore, PU Prepolymer is able to replace part of Epoxy resins to enhance the performance.
